Don’t Kid Yourself, You’re Shallow

I was sitting on the couch talking with Justin, he pulls up a podcast with a husband and wife having an argument over if people are shallow. Of course, this had me little heated because everyone is shallow. You pick the people you want in your life because you are shallow. You judge people based on the clothes they wear, cars they drive, and the house they live in. You are shallow!!!

Why is it bad if a person is shallow? If you take away the fact that someone is shallow you wouldn’t be left with much. Shallow is only something that you use in order to make someone feel better about their half ass life. In a way society has rules for beauty, if you don’t want to abide by them then there is no reason for you to get mad if someone truly believes you’re inferior to them.

Second off, why the hell does it matter? When you go to the store you’re not there to please everyone. If you make fun of someone at the store and they don’t hear it, is it really going to hurt their feelings? No! If you think someone is ugly than chances are they agree with you. Ugly people know they are and they try hard to stay that way.

If you don’t like the way people look or talk about you, then fucking change it! If you don’t want to change it then stop bitching about people who judge you. If you act like you could care less then keep your emotions and the sad sack of tears to yourself. People deep down really could give a shit less about how shallow you really are because those who say they are not shallow are just better liars than you!

Everyone goes through life getting mad at those who are “shallow” but, in all reality we all have our own way of being shallow.
